Officer Mike Vogel started December 1 and can be reached at a new number -- 741-0988. Mike has been with the Springfield Police Department for 10 years. Working the night shift downtown was his primary responsibility. As a Neighborhood Police Officer, Mike's primary responsibility is second shift in the area of town south of I-55.

There are nine (9) Lake Patrol Officers, all members of the Springfield Police Department. Their primary purpose is to provide a safe environment for all citizens using Lake Springfield.
